There’s something in journalism called burying the lead, where you accidentally hide the main point of the story.

I’m not a journalist.

What is a Multi-Level Marketing company?

It’s a company that hires desperate people, looking for a quick, simple and easy way to make a lot of money, and pays them to light their relationships on fire, destroying them as quickly as possible.

If you don’t know how to start a real business, there are people who will lie to you and say “here’s a business you can start for only $300 dollars!” and then they tell you to offer your friends and family the obligation opportunity to give you money for some crap you don’t actually want.

Real businesses build things people want.

That’s why Apple is able to have lines out the door and MLM companies lie to gullible people who are looking for an easy way to build a fortune.

If you give them money, you’re the customer.

What you just bought was the illusion of making money.

When you ‘join’ a MLM company, (Pyramid Scheme), you give them $300 for a ‘starter kit’.

You were just sold.

Now you have to find other people who buy the crap you just bought.

How do you do that?

By asking every person you know.

But how do you ask them?

By following the script that came with your kit!

The scripts they include with the garbage they sell will convince the weak-minded that their products are great! Everyone wants them! Now lucky you, you get to be the one to make all that money.

So these victims independent business owners go around and repeat their shill to everyone they know. Smart people will recognize this for the scam it is, and end that relationship. Stupid people will join into it.

I used to know a few people who were involved with MLM companies.

They all had BMW’s (7 series, natch).

Turns out, if you hit a certain revenue amount, they’ll pay your lease (#addiction).

These companies shout loud to anyone that will listen: you will make boat loads of money, it’s going to be easy and fast!

The weak believe, and don’t see that them ‘pitching’ their friends is actually burning their relationships.

If you start a MLM company, shame on you.

You’re a bad person, and you should feel bad.

Until next time,

Jack
